Tearing my hair out with this.
I'm getting about 30 odd rows, each having 2 field values, from a db.
1st value is the unique id of the row and 2nd value is the display name, eg:
ID    Name

I am populating a VB6 combo box from a UDT that contains a uniqueId
(integer) and a name (string).
I want to display only the string part (i.e the name) in the combo box).
However, when the user selects an item, I want to be able to get the

I've been asked to create a decoder app for cars VIN Number ,  I thought
maybe some of you could offer some advise, examples or links to go about
