I would like to know if there is a way to get the IP addresses on the local
machine, such as WAN IP, LAN IP and Router IP, similar to .NET in VB6? If so,
is there some place to look at code samples?

I have used the ShellExecute API to try to play a .wmv file. The Windows
Media Player is loaded automatically BUT the .wmv file is not played.
Does anyone have a solution??

I'm new here and it has been several years since I've done any serious VB
coding. I used to do a lot of VB6 development and have not really touched it
in about 8 years. .NET is brand new to me as well.
I need to create a quickie application either in VB6 or preferably VB.NET

If I understand correctly, SP6 replaces alot of DLLs from my computer.
If I deploy my program using InstallShield without the new DLLs, will my
program still run in my customers' computers? Hmm... let's make it "happy
paying customes". ;)

in the Image Control and want to add "Home Games" on top of the BaseBall.GIF. I want to avoid

I have been working on a project for 5 months. When I tried to open the
project yesterday, it gave an error "PayMaster.vbp cannot be loaded". I
opened the VBP file with notepad, but it was empty. I also opened some of the
FRM files in notepad and some of those where empty too.
