missing: ado 2.7 library
I installed MDAC and compiling works on other machines but not compiling vb
6.0 code on this new machine with visual studio installed and mdac 2.8
tried installing mdac 2.7 but still can't compile this
no search results anything I search for = zero results25 Feb 2008 08:10 GMT7
search for ADO   = zero results
is this broken?

I have an VB.Net application that uses the Excel reference. I have the DLL
included in the setup, but still receive an error when running the
application.  Does Excel have to be installed on the machine the application
is running on?

I have a program (exe), that was build with VB6 in Win98. The exe is
now run on Win XP. When it tried to load a 3rd control, it just
terminated with an error and then asked you if you want to send the
error to MS or not. When I looked at the details of the error, I saw

I've never come across these issues before. Can anyone help?

We are trying to figure out a solution and trying to find a good source of
information.
We have an enterprise product that loads many different .net assemblies -
all follow a specific interface but do various tasks.
