Is this a newsgroup that deals with issues that have to do with non web
VB.net deployment issues, or primarily regular VB?

I am making the installer for my program, and aparently it's all Ok. But
when I run the setup in the clients machine, sometimes it show an "Error
registering Graph32.OCX" and the installation fails. Or if all it's ok, when
I try to run the program, it crash saying: "The componente ...

I have a problem getting my application running on a
server.  
If run from a workstation (connected to this server) the
application runs fine, it is only when it is run directly

Good afternoon.  I have a VB6 application .exe that works
on one workstation. It will not work on the other because
the tab32.ocx file is missing.  How do I install the file
on the second workstation?

hi all,
i am deploying a visual basic program using installshield. before the
installation is complete, i wish to execute an exe file through
installshield. how do i do that.

I'm using the visual studio installer to install my program.
The problem is I log in as administrator to do the install and it seems to
only install for the administrator and none of the dlls or ocx's get
registered properly for other user.

We have a product installer built with VB PDW 6.0SP5. Somebody installing our product buried the installer folder deep in a long path. When they ran SETUP.EXE, it reported it could not find the SETUP.LST file. Moving the folder back up to a shorter path, it works fine. ...
