I have a software which need to run on WIN98 and above(2000,xp etc)
currently i am using early version of wise installer for deployment,
but i want to move to windows installer
Is it a good choice?

When I open an installer project in Visual Studio Installer that is
based on a VB6 project, the VSI project takes a minute or two to open.
Is this because it is scanning the VB project file every time it opens?
How can I make the installer project file open more quickly? I don't

Is there a way for me to allow my vb6 application which is resident on
several client computers to recognize when a new version of my application
is available for update to automatically do so when the user logs in to use
it?

Is anyone tried the ASP.net Data bind control? Will you use it for

When I write a program, it only runs on the machine it was created on, not on any other machine.
Please advise.

i've created an application in win98SE, vb6.0 when i create setup with P&D
wizard the setup works correctly in 98
but when i use it in winXP prof(with SP1), which also has vs6.0 and VS.net
installed,
