Can i distribute the jet engine with vb application so if
the target machine does not have ms access my application
in vb still works and connects to the database. The access
db will also be on the same machine. I will be using

Hope this is the right newsgroup to post to on this one.  
I have developed my application at home using vb6 running
on winXP pro.  At home the app runs fine.  I compiled
the .exe file and when I came to run the app on the

Where are the packaging scripts created by PDW stored? Can we edit them
directly? I just want to change the default directory for install and in the
modify option of PDW, I am not able to do that.

I've got a dll and vb project from another developer that I cannot get
to install on my system.  On his box the dll is referenced in his VB
project with as follows:

We're building an enterprise-wide application and are thinking about
deployment issues.  I'd like some 'slick' suggestions if possible.
Limitations are as follows:
a) users of our application will run using quite limited NT privilages

I am using VB6 + SP5 to develop an application,
using PDW to make the deployment.
It works fine on XP and 98SE machine, but when
