sorry if this has been asked a million times
my PnD package keeps putting mdac2.5 in when i have mdac 2.7 installed.
any ideas how i can get it so it puts mdac 2.7 in ?

I have packedged up my app using PnD wizard but i have come across a strange
problem
firstly my app uses a rich text box control on it.
now i have found that some of my users are getting a incorrecly formateed

I want to use the fax from my app using VB6, my question is HOW? and if i
need a special OCX or a FAX application runing with?

We have an application (VB6) that uses serveral components from
ComponentOne.
Don't ask my why (long story), but these components are always called using
late binding [CreateObject()].

I have a standard VB 6 application which uses EXCEL and WORD for some
reports. P&D wants to include the EXCEL EXE file which seems unecessary and
potenitally a license issue. I would also like to distribute so that the app
runs on Office 2000 as well as Office XP

i've got 2 forms, 1 basic (where all the code is), 1 processing screen.. The
processing screen is shown while the code of the first form is being
executed.... problem is when the second form is shown, the first form won't
continue to do it's code (the second form is show modal) ...

can you please recommend a solution (3rd party is ok too) that will address
the following issues:
- Password Protecting the installation / Requiring a Key
- The access file used by the VB executable can only be accessed by the VB

until yesterday i was using visual studio without any service pack.
with my program i was using msado2.
the installation package created by PnD was about 4mg
i installed sp5 now the installation includes mdac(7mg) file

I have a VB6 application developed on a Windows 2000 Pro
PC that has been working and deploying correctly. Suddenly
when deploying to other Windows 2000 PCs I get into a loop
of updating system files and rebooting over and over.

   I have created a piece of software that runs fine on my
machine (Windows 2000).  I packaged it using the VB6.0
Packaging and Deployment Wizard.  When I install it on
another Windows 2000 machine, the "avi" files (video clips)
