We have an application (VB6) that uses serveral components from ComponentOne. Don't ask my why (long story), but these components are always called using late binding [CreateObject()].

I have a standard VB 6 application which uses EXCEL and WORD for some reports. P&D wants to include the EXCEL EXE file which seems unecessary and potenitally a license issue. I would also like to distribute so that the app runs on Office 2000 as well as Office XP

i've got 2 forms, 1 basic (where all the code is), 1 processing screen.. The processing screen is shown while the code of the first form is being executed.... problem is when the second form is shown, the first form won't continue to do it's code (the second form is show modal) ...

until yesterday i was using visual studio without any service pack. with my program i was using msado2. the installation package created by PnD was about 4mg i installed sp5 now the installation includes mdac(7mg) file

I have a VB6 application developed on a Windows 2000 Pro PC that has been working and deploying correctly. Suddenly when deploying to other Windows 2000 PCs I get into a loop of updating system files and rebooting over and over.
