VB Forum / Crystal Report / August 2008

I have several If then statements in Crystal Reports that I want to
use to identify the call number on books. If the call number begins
with an alpha character I want it to be counted as fiction, if it
begins with a number I want it to be nonfiction.

Using VS 2005 and crviewer.  I would like to hide the "Main Report" tab, but
can't see any property for it.

I've created a group and each group should be started in a new page.
I've checked the "New page after" in the section expert. However it always
show a blank page at the end.
How to skip the blank page?

I need to locate records that that duplicates in a particular field.
I want to exclude all records that are NOT duplicates.

I have a CR formula written in Basic Syntax that works fine in CR X.  The same code does not always work in CR XI.  Can anyone explain why?
The object of the formula is to format an address within a string, while adding some minor text.  It does not produce anything with CR XI.
