Hi, I'm using VB.NET and Crystal Reports for VB.NET.  I have a form
with a Crystal Report Viewer and Print and Preview buttons.  I created
a set of reports that will be printed or previewed in the Crystal
Report Viewer.   However, these reports will be bundled together to

I have Crystal 9.0.
I want to give the sql expression field (i.e package with parameters)
a formula field.
I see that crystal let me give in the sql expression field

Is there any way of auto-sizing the report columns width to its
contents? I am having a major issue when exporting to Excel because it
exports only the visible width of columns (in report viewer).

I've created an .rpt in the VS .Net lightweight crystal editor and have
been able to succesfully pass dynamic data via a dataset (in code)/xsd
(in the designer) structure.
Due to the limitations of the free version in VS .Net, I've gotten a

transferred to the top of the next page and continue on to the next page and

Can anyone tell me how to print the GIF files in the report. I am using
Crystal Reports 8.5 (SP3) and I would like to print the GIF files stored in
the database, when I print it show a blank image. But it supports JPEG and
BMP formats.

Hello, I have a VB.NET program that loads an external Crystal Report at
runtime. It does loads and shows the data, but I need to change the
text value of a field (report header) in it before printing it.

each group is selectable in the upper left hand corner. However, if I choose
a group, the form crashes. I'd prefer not to have this option at all. How can

I want to send a string on 2 lines from a VB program to a crystal report.
Adding another textbox on the report itself is not an option, since I'll have
to change A LOT! of reports this way, and I want to solve it from VB with

i put database field into my report. i clicked "FORMAT FIELD" from context
menu. in Common tab i choose TEXT ROTATION 90 degree . but it doesn't work.
text is in normal orientation 0 degrees. what can i do ???

I have distributed an application using VB 6 and the Crystal 8.5 RDC.
When users try to print a report using the Local File System
(p2sfs.dll) they get the message "Server not yet opened". This happens
in both Win2K and XP.
