I'm new to crystal 8.0 and was wanting help in the below. I want the
report to display a zero in the values of some particular numeric
fields if there is no data to display. What are the ways to do this?

I have a report that keeps returning a blank field even though data
exists for that particular that field.  I'll run the stored procedure
(of the report) in query analyzer and this particular field has data.
But when I run the report, this field shows nothing.

if  (trim({Field})) =""   then 'Unallocated'  else 'Allocated'
However if the field is empty it returns nothing.

I am using VB6+SP5+SQL Server 2000+ADO2.8+Win XP-SP2.
and Crystal Repotts V7.
On my main form I have the CRReport OCX that I use to manage
CR functionaluty.

Here is what I would like to do - it can't be that hard, but I haven't
found a way to make it work yet!
