I am using VB6 and crystal report 7. Everything runs fine in other window 98, 2000 and NT. But I have the crystal report cannot connect to the database server when the client is in XP machine. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm having a hard time trying to run a crystal reports document on my server. I get the following exception: CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.LogOnException: Logon failed.

my ReportDocument.Export() call is throwing CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.LogOnException from my 8.5 reports containing subreports only. Those 8.5's not containing subreports work just fine.

After upgrading crystal reports .dsr files from Visual Basic 6 project to .rpt files in .NET, I can not access properties and methods of the report, like i used to do that in VB 6. For example, when I try to refer to Areas property of the report:

i'm working with Crystal Reports 9 and VB .NET with SQL DB. My question is if there is a way to save connection string (user and password) in report file, so user doesn't have to enter it each time.??

what is the min. requirement of Crystal Report 9 runtimes and ActiveX Controls (e.g. ActiveXViewer)? is it ok for win95 or must at least win98? and the development environment is VB6 + CR9

I'm currently unable to view my picture while running my report on the Net. When designing my report, I'm seeing the picture but when executing it, its seems unable to load them. When I look to source code, it look like this.

I have installed visual studio 2003, iis6, sql2000 and are creating an asp web application. No pictures graphics or icons are displayed when running the report. In fact the groups are created and I can even drill down.

I have several reports that are built on my laptop using a SQL database on my sytem. Now the reports have to go to the development server and point to the development SQL database. How can I change what database the reports hit without having to recreate the reports? BTW I am using ...
