big ammount of data in crystalreports problem10 Dec 2003 15:46 GMT1
I have dataset with 500.000 rows, crystal report has sub report, which is
repeted 1.000 times. Sub report uses data from same table as a main report.
when the crystalreports tries to show report, it hangs.
How to solved this problem?

I create a report with CR4.6 which is bundled with VB6.
But when I insert more database fields into the report (around 15 fields),
the report stop responding when I click the preview tab.
Is this the limitation of CR4.6 or anyone have any solution?

Oh my goodness!  All this work.  I just realized that I have no idea how to
pass a parameter range or multiple discrete values to a Crystal Report from
VB.

I have a parameter called Date_Range.  I select date on the report and
everything is good and all, but I would like to display the date range on
the header.
This worked for me before by using date from and date to.  But now I would

Since I got a quick and helpful response on the last one.  Is there a way to
tell, using a formula, whether the parameter has used a range or discrete
value if the Discrete and Range Values is chosen.

I am using a report that has a parameter that is a range.  I want to be able
to put the range information onto the report (Report for X to Y) but can't
seem to figure that part out.

I am using Visual Studio .net 1.0 SP2.
I have written a Windows application that uses the built in version of
Crystal Reports (which is 9.0). The application is running on a Win 2k
server. It reads from a table in an SQL Server database to check if
