I'm using CR9, with VB6 sp5 and MDAC 2.7. It seems that I cannot restrict report output to a subset of rows by using the adodb.rs.Filter property - the viewer still shows all the records in the RS. Is this right? / a bug? / feature?

I have been exporting fine to Excel from my reports in Crystal 8 and Win95/98/NT Pcs but when upgraded to Win2k/Xp it doesn't work exporting on some Pcs fine and exporting 0 bytes files on others. ¿Any idea to solve this? ¿Is there a way to ensure the export will work allways fine?
