Hi, is there any way to summarize an already summarized field?  I have
VS.NET Professional and I am trying to create a report in Crystal
Reports for .NET.  I have grouped together total hours spent on each
project.  Now, I want to be able to group all the projects by project

This seems like a very basic task to accomplish with Crystal
Reports...I need to have columns with multiple values repeat within a
report. I am using a join on  tables with one-to-many
relationships...example:

we are having problems either making Crystal use the correct culture or
convincing the server what culture it should use.  Specifically, the date
format is printing US (m/d/y) when running as a service (running as
LocalSystem) but prints Australian (d/m/y) when running as a console ...

CR is new to me.  I would like to try using it since I have a copy of it on
my VB6 CD, but have no idea what it does or how to use it.  Can anyone
recommend a good tutorial for someone who knows nothing about crystal
reports?  I need a tutorial that begins with the basics.

I tried to workout this problem for one week still not able to do it.
I want to print a report like this,
Event No: 1 200M Free Style Men
Heat 01 (I put this as groups)                 Heat 02

As I know, vb6.0 can call crystal report9.0 by creating a designer for
crystall report9.0.
Does anyone know how to call a crystal report9.0 from vb6 without crystal
report9.0 designer?

I would like to display the actual formula to the screen instead of the
result of the formula.
Is there a function or certain type of syntax to display the formula?

We've developed a VB6 app linked to an Access97 b/e db. In terms of creating
reports and getting data out of the app/database, should I be considering
Crystal Reports or trying to output stuff via reports in the Access db??

I am trying to display records in a list with commas so that it will
appear like this:
Customers:
Customer1, customer2, customer 3

i have to questions...
1)  Does anyone know how to get a list of the reports stored in Crystal
Enterprise via ASP?
2)  how to pass a value to a CR report (Published on Crystal Enterprise)

Does anyone know how I can print 2 sided in crystal reports v8.5
having two report records per page (top and bottom) with the record on
the top back being associated with the record on the top front so that
when the page is cut in half, there are 2 complete reports remaining?

Are there alternatives to using Crystal for reporting? Is Microsoft
developing a product that can replace Crystal?
Thank you for any input on the above - we are having a debate at our
office on policy of where to go with our development requirements.

Have some old reports made with crystal reports 7. But I only have 8.5
and it will not work with the database app. Does anyone have it?

I am using VS2003EA.  I keep seeing references to bringing up the Report
Expert.  I can't seem to find this in the IDE.  How do to find it?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I make a connection in crystal reports with odbc to a mysql server.
In this database , i have a table with images of different types, jpg or
bmp.
Also the compression woth the jpg can be different.
