I want to only count the number of records where a field = "x"
I cant seem to write a formula that only counts based on a condition.
I see boolean, date and time conditions.  I need based on a string of a
field.

Question:
I made a simple formula.
"Vendor: " +{vendor.name}
But when i place it a section it will only display if there is a vendor

I am a very very very confused newbie where crystal reports are concerned.

i created a report (CR8.0 SP1 and W2000 SP3). On runtime i like to change
the datasource. Online help says i can use ADO-Recordsets with
Report.Database.SetDataSource (see below). But nothing happens - no error.
How can i change the datasource? BTW, fields in recordset and report ...

I need to merge these two existing fields to creat a new single one.

header section. I cant it doesn't have a page header ...
