I have two combo control (dropdown combo type) on an SSTab form
eventhough the combo is disabled, it looks like it's highlighted (deep
blue)?
What settiong allows highlighting even if the field is disabled?

Also, is there a way on SSTab to prevent user to go to another tab?
(in  my app if user is on tab 2, he is not allowed to tab to others.

Any advice is appreciated. T H A N K S !!

This is a problem with the SSTab control.

You will need to put each tabs controls on a picturebox or frame then
show/hide them as you change tabs.

This seems to explain it fairly well:

Ah.. I read it that the OP doesn't want the user to be able
to access the other tabs.

Just disabling them will suffice.

But I use the tabstrip which doesn't do the moving voodoo so i can
either show/hide them or disable them and set the ZOrder.

There isn't one. I seem to recall someone else posting about
this phenomenon.. Anyway there must be something else going
on becuase this certainly is not a common issue.

Disable the other tabs.

DUH! I am embarassed.. something so simple I overlooked.

Thanks for straightening me out.

The highlight baffles me because the combo is not even drawn last (i.e.
didn't
have focus at one time) --so i don't know why they're highlighted. It
doesn't do that
on regular form.

Have you done a search on google groups. I definitely
remember someone else mentioning this.
