I have just saved some photos on a disc and would like to open the file to
rename all the photos... I go to the photo...Click rename, type in name and
then  it asks me to confirm file rename ( Are you sure you want to rename the
read only file? ). I click YES and then it says Cannot rename. Files on this
disc is read only. You can still copy new files to this writable cd, which
will replace files already on disc! I no longer have photos just what is on
disc. How can I rename my photos?

Much Appreciate your Help.

I'm not sure how this relates to Visual Basic? It sounds
like you should be in a windows group.

In any case you cannot rename read only files, and if they
are on a non rerecordable cd then you will need make a copy
of the files and rename the copies.
