I know there are products out there that create a pdf file by using a print
driver, but they all (to my limited knowledge) seem to require a user to
choose the file name and folder that the file is going to. I have a vb6
application that creates an html file and I want it to convert that file to a
pdf file without the user being involved. Does anybody have a clue how to do
that and what products I'd need?

Cheers,
Jon

You could try PDFCreator as www.sourceforge.net..

Thanks. I've downloaded and am trying PDFCreator. I've set it up to do the
autosave so it doesn't prompt the user for a filename to save it under but
I'm struggling to get it to actually print the htm file I created. I have set
PDFCreator to be the default printer. It seems to me that I need to use the
shell command as in: Shell "print C:\file.htm" , but when I do this it tries
to print it under a printer that was previously set to be the default.

There has to be an easier and more reliable way to do this. Any clues?

Cheers,
Jon
