I Enter my password and my b1 user Id but still wn't let me. Why?

Am doing something in the Web and I let the computer running .If I dont used
the computer a period of time the computer is locked. The message I had to
enter my password and b1 user ID. I did enter my password  and user ID. The
computer say's un error password. I enter my password correctly still giving
me error .
Can you help me to reset the new password. Thank you in advance.

That's not a VB question. You'll need to find a group that supports the OS
you're working with... and, you can't change passwords without knowing the
original.

Hi Ken, you can indeed change a Windows NT-based OS user password w/o
knowing the old p/w. There are several linux based utilities available
for d/l to do this. The one I have used that has never failed me is here:

http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/

You essentially just boot from the disk, select with user account you
want to change the p/w for, and enter a new password. That's it. You
don't need to enter the old p/w, AND, it works with the Adminisrator
account as well.

(Note: I don't know about Vista though now that I think about it, but I
have used this in NT, 2K and XP.)
