Back in August 2006, I posted a question about why what I see on screen
is not what I see when I "print" to a png file.  The suggestion that was
made was to set paperpositionmode to auto.  That worked back then, but
for some reason it's not working now.

If you would indulge me for a moment and take a look at two images.  One
is http://www.bigelow.org/~bcb/screenshot.png, the other is named http://
www.bigelow.org/~bcb/y2003_south_survey8_delta.png

Why do they look different and what can I do to ensure that what comes
out of the print command is the same as what's on screen, regardless of
differences in resolution.

Thank you for your time.

You obviously landed in the wrong newsgroup since your problem is a MATHLAB
problem and not a Visual Basic <= 6.0 problem. And you have never posted
about such a problem in this newsgroup.

Presumably you are talking about your posting to
 comp.soft-sys.matlab
whereto you should redirect this new posting of yours.

yep, my bad.  Don't know how it happened.  I soon as I figured it out, I
sent out a cancel, but since they take time and rarely work, oh well...
