GDI+ EXIF properties & the  PENTAX optio A10

We have an application that reads and sets EXIF properties in Jpg's via GDI+
on windows XP/windows 2003 that has been working for about 2 years on a
variety of images from many different image sources.

In the last couple of weeks we have started having problems with images
generated by a PENTAX optio A10 (software version 1.01).  GDI+ will generate
a Error 7 (out of memory  I think) when savings or drawing the image once you
have referenced ANY image properties (either reading or setting them).

Does anyone know of a fix or a work around?

Roughly translated this means 'we have been using a third party
control to do something important, and now it is blowing up'

Personally I would check out the format for JPEGs and write my own
'extended information' editor

It is just possible that Pentax have screwed up, but it is more likely
that they are pushing the envelope and your third party stuff was
written by somebody who misinterpreted the specifications.
