This group has never been particularly active IMO.

Let's face it. Syntax questions are generally asked by newbies.
There aren't many newbies using a language that is no longer commercially available.
Most of the questions here are one of the following:
1. Have nothing to do with syntax, as such.
2. Have nothing to do with VB Classic
a. Asking about that _other_ VB (that shall be nameless)
b. ...VBScript
c. ...T-SQL
d. ...VBA for Excel or Word
Most of the remaining questions are probably
about .net, but the questioner didn't say anything to tip it off.
This NG ought to be named "microsoft.public.vb.misposted"

I've noticed MORE new VB6 users since MS stopped support. I
believe a lot of VB6 programmers moved on leaving companies
with VB6 products needing maintenance, a job taken on by
people new to VB.
