Hello,

I'm using CR 2008 with Visual Studio 2005.

I'm using Azalea Code 39 barcode fonts to print the barcode labels in
Crystal Reports. Everything works fine on my PC. The problem starts when I
publish my application to the web server.

The same barcode fonts are installed on the web server. They work, when I
run the report on the web server the barcode is displayed OK. But when I
export the report to PDF to print - there is no barcode, only numbers and
text are displayed. On my PC I don't have this problem.

What could be wrong here?

I would appreciate your help.

Thank you.

Got an answer from the Business Solution support dept:

"This is by design. CR will not embedded licensed fonts into a PDF. Work
around is to export them to Editable RTF, open that document in Word 2007
and get MS's PDF export plug-in that will allow you to export the font.

It's a limitation of our PDF export dll which we are working on resolving in
some future version of CR."

I'm exporting now to RTF, works OK so far.
