Hello,

Can anyone provide me with a simple example of the following:

1.) Writing a COM interface for a subroutine placed inside a "Class
Library" project using vb 2008 express edition.  I want to call the
subroutine inside the dll created during this step from excel vba code.

2.) Calling the subroutine inside the dll from excel vba.

I've seen some prior posts about this, but the steps from the links
posted by other members always lead to a "dead-end" when using vb 2008
express edition (and this is the only compiler I have access to).  I
think the links would have helped if I had vb 6.0 or a purchased copy of
the latest vb.

Thanks for your help.

Wrong group, this is a VB6 group, you need a group with

If the posts you're talking about are from this newsgroup, then yes, they'd only be viable for VB6 and under.

You need to ask this question, or search, in dotnet newsgroups.
