hi , we see warnings because XP has some virus protection software. Is there
a way by which we can get rid of these warning popups ?. Can we sign the .vbs
files
using some sign tool etc ?

Please let me know.

Thanks

Obviously there can't be a 'universal' way to shut-up Virus Protection. (Or
least no sane person would publish one.)

Depending on the error, then yes, 'signing' might work. Also almost all VP
s/w have some kind of exception list. ( WinXP security configuration is a
bit limited you might want to upgrade to something else.)

You will be better off providing more details and posting in a WinXP
Security newsgroup.

If that is so with regard to .vbs files, then VB Script has become worthless
for automated scripting.  What next?  Have a warning dialog when a batch file
runs?  Or will there even be batch files in the next Windows release?

Not worthless, just needs to be managed.
