Getting IP Address from Hostname

Hello Guys,

Have anybody some sample about getting IP address using hostname. My idea is
read a hostname list file and then get the IP address for a know host.

hi
hope u are looking for a program similar ti ping.
ping <hostname> will give you the IP address.

you can get a lot of these examples from www.vbip.com

please let me know if yould like to know anything else
