Hi

as propably anyone knows RecordCount of ADO Recordsets doesn't work
reliable.
In many cases I get "-1" as the result.

Does someone knows hoe to solve this problem ?

And another question: is it possible to something like that in one SQL
string "SELECT Count(*),* FROM Table" ?
I know that the syntax above doesn't work, but can I count all recordset and
get them back in one step,
that would solve the RecordCout problem in many cases.

I would highly appreciate any idea.

Hi David

thanks for your fast reply. I took another cursor type, from originally
ForwardOnly to Static, and it work fine.
