VB Forum / Database Access / January 2006Visial Basic 6 linking to MS Access 2000 database.
Trying to set up a data link to an exisitng MS Access 2000 database, but getting an error message "Unrecognised database format [then the d/b file location then] Number 3343". As it will link to an old Access 97 database I assume that I need an updated driver etc. for VB6 to recognise the Access 2000 format; can anyone confirm this and therefore direct me to the appropriate download location? I am at Visual Basic 6 SP6 level - this seems to be the latest one. Many thanks.  SignatureKevin What References do you have in your application? To use Access 2000 or newer, you need DAO 3.6.
