Hello, I want to know how to send a mail with my application in VB6
using SMTP server
and if there is any other way ... it is welcome and i wish you listed
for me some SMTP servers to use

Sorry but if you can tall me about free STMP servers i can use i will
be very gratefull
I have tried mx1.hotmail.com for hotmail but it doesn't works
i tried also smtp1.google.com but nothing done
please help me it's urgent

ShowCode.Asp?ID=109) please tell me what is the SMTP you have chosen
and with or not Login ?
I tried the application but always the same message appears in
french : "............ Failed ........... Time out ....."
please help me

I use this code in about 5 programs communicating with a SMTP email server,
I use a domain name of a local Exchange server that supports SMTP. These
programs are running on 3 PC's (XP) and on Windows servers.

Have you had a really good look at the manual in the zip file?
Have you specified the correct Username and Password?
Is the domain name (or IP address) you specified correct (try using the
.ping and .mxquery calls)?
Are you using it with 'withevents' and was the error message you gave from
Explanation?
Did you specify the .from value as being your own email address or are you
trying to relay (and if so does your SMTP server allow that)?
Have you asked the mail administrator what's appearing in the logs?
