There is going to be a button that has alternating text on it
depending on 2 choices the user can make.  How do you show button text
to say Add Package if the database says there are NO package items
associated with a certain product.  And if the product has package
items associated with it then the text of the SAME button needs to
read Edit Package and be displayed in RED text.  And where would this
code go? Would it go in the private sub of the button itself or in the
page load sub?  I am not sure.  Could you please tell me how to do
this in ASP.NET/VB.NET.  Thanks in advance.

Good morning,

I and others would be glad to answer your question but our answers are
specific to the classical rendition of Visual Basic,
written and used before NET was a gleam in Bill's stigmatic eyes.

There is one person who seems to have forged a niche by moving back and
forth between the two languages equally well or equally poorly depending on
the way you interpret his replies.

The best suggestion I can give you is to contact one of the dot NET
newsgroups.Two of these are:

microsoft.public.dotnet.general
microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb.

In any case, good luck.
