Hello,

I am in the process of upgrading a VB 6 app to VB.NET and I am getting an
error saying that I am missing the .frx files from my package.  This program
is five years old and I must have not saved those files.  The computer I
used is long gone so there is no hope there.  I think what i have to do is
re-open my project in VB 6 and reset the icon property, but I can only find
disk 1 of the install.  If anyone has a copy I would greatly appreciate.
Suggestions are also helpful.

Thanks.

Make a backup copy of everything before starting.

Open the .frm files in your text editor of choice. Look for all lines
that reference a .frx file. Delete those lines. (The entire line, not
just "foo.frx".) Save the form. Import into .Net. (You'll have to re-
enter whatever was in the .frx files -- things like combobox entries,
icons, etc.)

If that doesn't work, I suggest rewriting from scratch. (It'd probably
be easier.)
